Our special Christmas dinner recipe for the day is the Gobi Pakoras which is very easy to prepare and tastes heaven. Gobi pakoras are prepared by dipping cauliflower chunks in a batter with spices. Gobi Pakoras Recipe -

Ingredients:

1.Cauliflower (boiled chunks) – 1 cup

2.Bengal gram flour – 1 cup

3.Rice flour (for crispness) – 1 cup

4.Corn flour (binding) - 1/2 cup

5.Chilli powder (according to taste) - 2 tsp

6.Pinch of baking soda

7.Oil for deep fry

8.Coriander (finely chopped) - 1 tsp

9.Salt to taste

Method:

1.Mix all flours, salt, chilly powder, baking soda and ' tsp coriander in a mixing bowl with water making it into a thick batter.

2.Dip cauliflower chunks into batter and deep fry the battered chunks in oil.

3.Garnish it with coriander leaves. Tasty gobi pakoras recipe ready to serve. Serve the pakoras hot with sauce or chutney.
