Hot n Spicy Mango Mandakki For Summer

Mango Mandakki Recipe, A Summer Snack -
Ingredients:
1. 1 litre Mandakki (puffed rice)
2. ' tsp raw mango (grated)
3. 1 onion (chopped)
4. 2-3 green chillies (chopped)
5. 4-5 curry leaves
6. 1 tsp mustard seeds
7. 1 tsp gram dal
8. 1 tsp urad dal
9. ' tsp besan (gram flour)
10. Fresh coconut (grated)
11. Pinch of turmeric
12. Salt to taste
13. 1 tsp oil
14. Coriander for garnish
Mango Mandakki Recipe Preparation :
1. Heat a teaspoon of oil in a pan and fry mustard seeds, urad dal, gram dal, curry leaves, green chillies, raw mango, chopped onion and pinch of turmeric for 2-3 minutes.
2. Soak puffed rice in water and immediately drain all the excess water. Add the puffed rice to the fried mixture.
3. Add little besan, fresh coconut, salt and mix well.
4. Garnish with chopped coriander. Tasty mango mandakki is ready.
Enjoy the mango mandakki hot with a cup of tea or coffee.
