Masala Khakra:A Tasty Indian Snack

Ingrediants For Masala Khakra
Wheat
Flour

Salt
to
taste
water
¾

fenugreek(methi)

Green
gram
(moong
dal)
½
cup
garlic
paste
½
spoon
ginger
paste
½
spoon
cumin
seeds
½
spoon
khakra
machine
Chili
powder
½
spoon
Coriander
powder
½
spoon
Directions To Make Masala Khakra:
- Prepare a dough with wheat flour, water and salt. Mix ingredients respective to the type of khakra you are making.
- While preparing the dough, if you are planing to make fenugreek masala khakra, then add fenugreek.
- If you are making green gram (moong dal) khakra then you need to add that in the dough.
- Add cumin seeds, chilli powder, coriander powder in the dough.

round
rotis
(flat
breads)
from
the
prepared
dough.
Then
you
need
to
roast
the
prepared
rotis
till
they
become
light
brown.
- You can do it with a machine (roti maker) or on a pan. While roasting it on a pan make sure you keep pressing it with a clean piece of cloth . When it starts changing it's colour to light brown and when it looks crispy, then it is done.
Tip: Be careful while pressing it down on a pan. Do not over do it as it might burn. Serve it with pickle or curd.
