Classic Green Bean Casserole Turns 55

Green bean casserole is easy to make and can be served on any occasion. So what makes this American recipe so good? Take a look at our secret ingredient that can add that extra flavor to your green beans.
Classic green bean casserole recipe -
Ingredients:
1 can condensed cream
4 cups green beans (cooked)
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 cup milk
1 1/3 cups onions (fried)
Preparation:
Mix cream, milk and pepper in a casserole dish.
Add cooked beans and fried onions and stir the mixture well.
Bake for about half an hour at 350 degrees F.
Garnish the baked bean mixture with the remaining onions and bake for some more minutes (5 minutes).
This classic recipe serves 6.
