Strawberries are the red juicy fruits loved by everyone. The flavour of strawberry satisfies your taste buds and makes you fall in love with the taste of berries. Apart from the taste, these berries are healthy too. You actually lose weight by consuming berries. Strawberries are rich in antioxidants that improve the digestion and flushes out toxins from your body. As it is the season to have chilled drinks, you can refresh your mood with a strawberries cocktail. You can make strawberry cocktails with many alcoholic drinks such as tequilla, white rum, vodka, gin or champagne. To add a fruity flavour, you can pour in fruit juices such as orange juice or triple sec, apple juice or soda. Here are two different cocktail recipes that can be easily made with strawberries.

Strawberries Margarita:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 2 ounce tequilla
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 2½ ounce lemon juice
  • Ice cubes

Directions to make strawberries margarita:

  • Blend frozen strawberries into a fine paste.
  • Add tequila, triple sec and blend well. Now pour in lemon juice and stir well.
  • In a cocktail glass, add ice cubes and then pour the strawberries cocktail. Serve chilled.

Champagne with strawberry cocktail recipe:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 2tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1tsp vinegar
  • 1 glass champagne

Directions to make champagne with strawberry cocktail:

  • In a bowl, add strawberries and vanilla sugar syrup. Leave for about 10 minutes.
  • Now blend the strawberries and sprinkle vinegar.
  • Strain the strawberries with a sieve and add champagne. Pour in a glass and serve chilled.

These are two cocktail recipes that can be easily made with strawberries. If you are planning to have a summer barbeque party, just try these drinks. You can serve cocktails in small peg glasses or big oval champagne glass. Garnish with strawberries slices and lemon peels. If it is a summer party appetizer, garnish your glass with umbrella sticks.
