Mushroom Omlette For A Wednesday Breakfast
Mushroom omlette is one of the tastiest meals you can have for a Wednesday morning. Mushroom is a veggie which is good in proteins and nutrients and if you add the right spices, you are bound to get a special dish out of it. Mushroom is considered to be a healthy vegetable for diabetics as it helps to regulate the sugar levels in the body. So, if you are diabetic, this mushroom omlette is the best for you this morning. Eggs too are essential for you to consume, especially if you are not a meat eater.
This non vegetarian breakfast recipe of mushroom omelette is a must try by you this morning. With the mushroom omelette you can have it with stuffed parathas or with brown or wheat bread. Do not forget to add tomato sauce to your dish when it is ready to eat.

Serves- 5
Preparation Time - 15 minutes
Cooking time - 20 minutes
Ingredients
Sesame oil - 2 tbsp
Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp
Green chilli - 1 (chopped)
Ginger - 1 tbsp (grated)
Mushrooms - 150 gms (diced)
Onions - 2 (finely chopped)
Eggs - 6 nos (beaten)
Method
- You first need to preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.
- Now heat a non-stick frying pan over medium flame.
- To the pan add half a spoon of sesame oil, the vegetable oil, green chillis, grated ginger, chopped onion and diced mushroom.
- Now stir the ingredients over the medium flame and let it cook for about 5 minutes until the mushrooms turn a little brown in colour. Add salt to taste.
- Now pour a beaten egg into the pan and stir gently for a minute.
- Simmer the flame and let it cook by continuously stirring the ingredients in the pan.
- When cooked, place the omelette into the oven. Cook it again for about 60 seconds until the omelette begins to puff.
- Remove the omelette and set aside.
- Repeat the remaining procedures for the rest of the other 5 eggs.
Your mushroom omelette is now ready to eat. You can eat it along with hot rotis or butter sandwiched bread.
