Lisa Haydon's Knotted Shirt Style
Lisa Haydon has been on our radar ever since her spirited role in the movie 'Queen'. She has been seen in fashion circles making a few notable appearances. But two of her recent spottings have made us think that she might be sparking off a trend; the trend to wear knotted shirts. Lisa Haydon was seen in a shirt on the sets of the movie Shaukeen. She was also at the ICW 2014, wearing a knotted white shirt.
Lisa Haydon is acting in Shaukeen which is a remake of an 80s movie. On the sets of this movie, she was seen wearing a see-though white shirt that was knotted at the waist. She also wore coral denim shorts with the shirt. We could see her sporting blue undergarments under the white shirt. Lisa let her hair down in this outfit and wore flip flops to complete the look.

We have seen Lisa Haydon at ICW 2014 in a similar avatar. She wore a white knotted shirt with a black leather lehenga that was embellished with golden embroidery. This was part of the 'World Bride' collection that was inspired from the French Rococo style. Lisa Haydon was Monish Jaising's showstopper dressed as a lovely cross-cultural bride.
Coming back to the point, in both the ensembles that are very different from each other, the white knotted shirt is a common factor. Wearing knotted up shirts is a trend that had totally gone out of fashion. It is a bit Bohemian or rather French in origin. However, we think that this style is becoming 'in' again. Lets see if we can spot some more celebrities in tied up shirts. It would be a welcome change from seeing them in crop tops that has become so boring.
