Cannes Film Festival 2014 has never had a dull moment. First, there was the excitement of the Cannes red carpet crasher who tried to crawl under America Ferrera's gown. Then there was the unexpected incident of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan missing her flight to Nice. And finally, there is a semi-wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet of Cannes Film Festival 2014. Jessica Chastain's Elie Saab gown blew away on a windy evening revealing more of her thigh than it was intended to show.

While the whole world is busy drooling over Jessica Chastain's Marilyn Monroe moment, most fashion commentators seemed to have missed an important point. Sonam Kapoor was seen wearing something similar to Jessica Chastain later in the night for the Chopard party at Cannes 2014. In fact, both Jessica Chastain and Sonam Kapoor were in Elie Saab gown from the same Spring 2014 collection. In fact, the two gowns look like different versions of the same gown. The colour of the two gowns is also quite similar.

Sonam Kapoor's Elie Saab gown has a structured bodice and is strapless. On the other hand, Jessica Chastain's Elie Saab gown has a wrapped bodice, is one shoulder and has a trailing cape. Both the fashionistas wore these two similar gowns on the same night at Cannes Film Festival 2014! That is a huge coincidence. Luckily, the two women did not wear it for the same red carpet event at once!
