Vidya Balan, the new jury member at Cannes has made many fashion mistakes at the French Riviera. Vidya has a fine interest in art and loves wearing traditional Indian outfits, but the way she has carried her style quotient at Cannes 2013, it makes Vidya look like an old patron! Light colours, full-sleeve blouses, pearl jewellery etc have spoiled the overall appearance of the jury member.

Vidya has made many fashion blunders at the red carpet. Her constant saree flops at Cannes red carpet has shocked us. Vidya's style statement is traditional and we have always seen her in silk or cotton sarees. She looked amazing at events in India but, something went wrong at Cannes. If we track all of Vidya Balan's appearances at Cannes 2013 as a jury member, we can only see one or two sarees that have made her look gorgeous as she is!

Vidya Balan's first appearance at the arrival was fine as we expected some ethnic wear from the talented actress. Even at the jury photocall, Vidya wore a light coloured saree but it was looking good on her. However, at the opening ceremony Vidya spoiled it completely with a pallu. The lehenga was also very light in colour. Then her constant appearances were a series of disappointments at such a platform. Although few of her sarees were amazing, Vidya failed to carry it the right way. Blame it on the accessories or hairstyle, Vidya Balan looked dull in most of her appearances.
