According to the reports, there was not one but 2 jewellery thefts at Cannes 2013. Among all the glitter and shine of diamond jewellery at Cannes, you can hardly blame the robbers for getting tempted! Many jewellery brands showcase their creations by loaning them to celebrities who walk the red carpet. The first jewellery theft at Cannes involved disappearance of Chopard jewels. The second theft is supposed to have affected De Grisogono, a Swiss jewellery brand. While our heart goes out to the jewellery brands who have lost a sizable sum of money, we cannot help but admire the jewellery trends at Cannes 2013 first. At Cannes this year, jewellery has been innovative and inspiring.

Celebrities walked the red carpet with some really fresh jewellery designs that are bound to become trends for the next season.
