DIY Tea Tree Oil And Basil Facial Steam For Oily Skin
Facial steaming has been making waves in the beauty community for quite some time now and for all the right reasons.
This is an incredibly simple, yet powerful, procedure that is known to have a great impact on reducing the oiliness of the skin.

Oily skin types are more prone to acne, pimples and breakouts, way more than any other skin type.
This mainly happens because of clogged pores, which are a result of excessive production of sebum and accumulation of dead skin cells.

Facial steaming can greatly benefit this skin type by unclogging the pores.
Steaming softens the surface layer and removes the dead skin cells. Also, it kills the bacteria and toxins that cause acne build-up and other breakouts on the skin.
Moreover, the warm humidity of the steam enhances blood circulation and is considered particularly great for the health of the skin.

Today, at Boldsky, we are letting you know about a simple DIY facial steam for oily skin that can benefit your skin in ways you've never known before.
So, read on to know about the ingredients that are required and the directions to use this facial steam.
Ingredients:

A pot of hot water
4-5 drops of tea tree oil
5-6 fresh basil leaves
A clean towel
Directions To Use:
Put tea tree oil and basil leaves in a pot of hot water. Keep your face, 20-25 inches away from the pot and cover it with a clean towel. Take the steam for 10-15 minutes.
Right after the steam, your face will feel lighter. It is advised to follow up by moisturising your skin, while it is still damp. Doing this 3-4 times in a week will bring a considerable change to your skin type.
And, as always, be careful while doing these beauty treatments. Oily skin type is more prone to skin-related problems, so it is highly advised to take due care of your skin. Drink plenty of water and be careful of what you put on your skin.
