The Dos And Don'ts While Dealing With Oily Skin
Oily skin is common problem many people face. As we are aware, skin that is overly oily can lead to formation of acne and is more vulnerable to ultra violet rays of the sun. In this article, we focus on the important dos and don'ts of oily skin. We focus on certain effective ways to deal with oily skin besides stressing on the things one mustn't do whilst dealing with oily skin. A lot of people are unaware of the dos and don'ts of oily skin and this article seeks to enlighten you on the important things you need to note.
You must note that there are several ways to manage oily skin. Oily skin is as much to do with the foods you eat as much as it is to do with hormonal imbalances in the body. Let us go ahead and look at these ways to treat oily skin. Here are the dos and don'ts while dealing with oily skin. Read on...

The Dos:
Salicylic Acid
Salicylic acid is a perfect compound to treat oily skin. You can use skin care products that contain salicylic acid as the compound is capable of penetrating through the pores of your skin and ridding your skin of the oily propensity.
Retinoid At Night
Consider using retinoid at night, for it helps a great deal in preventing oil accumulation on your skin. There are many products that contain retinoid and can be used in the night.
Using Blotting Paper
Blotting paper can be used if you don't get to wash your face during the day. It is ideal to wash your face at least four times a day if your skin is oily.

Dont's While Dealing With Oily Skin:
Do Not Moisturize Your Skin Too Much
Using moisturizers on a regular basis will only worsen the problem. Make sure moisturizers are a limited affair if you wish to tackle oily skin.
Do Not Over Wash your Face
Over washing is definitely not the solution. Over washing can remove essential oils that shield the skin against germs and any other form of irritants, making your skin vulnerable to acne and other problems.
Do Not Use Milk Cleansers
This is more or less relevant to the first point under don'ts while dealing with oily skin. Mily cleansers will only aggravate the problem.
