Shraddha Kapoor Skincare: The Actress Swears By This DIY Ingredient For Radiant Skin
It is obvious from Shraddha Kapoor's Instagram feed that she enjoys a quick and easy homemade face pack just as much as the next person.
"A homemade mask that I totally swear by would be besan mixed with an oil of your choice-whether it's coconut oil, jojoba oil or rosehip oil. Apply that to the face and gently scrub it. This is my quickest go-to to my homemade face pack," Shraddha shared with Vogue.

The benefits of besan for the skin and hair have long been recognised in India.
Gram flour, or besan, is the flour that can be obtained after grinding chickpeas. This flour is a very high source of protein, as well as unsaturated fatty acids like linoleic and oleic acids, as well as vitamins like riboflavin, niacin, folate, and beta-carotene [1].
Let's check out three different ways you can use besan for skin care.
Besan For Skincare
First, we will explore the besan with oil combo Shraddha Kapoor swears by.
Besan with jojoba oil for radiant skin
- In order to make a besan and jojoba oil face pack, combine two tablespoons of besan with one tablespoon of jojoba oil and enough water to achieve a paste-like consistency.
- After applying the paste to your face, allow it to sit for 15-20 minutes.
- Rinse off with warm water.
- For best results, apply this face pack once or twice a week.

Since ancient times, rice flour, or besan, has been used for exfoliating and brightening purposes in Indian beauty rituals. Jojoba oil is well known for its intense hydration properties and moisturizing properties.
The combination of these two terrific ingredients can improve the appearance of your skin by creating a powerful blend [2].
Here are 3 more ways you can use besan for skin care.
Besan face pack for oily skin
