No one had ever imagined Saif Ali Khan in a desi role. But he awed the audience with his role of 'Langra Tyagi' in 'Omkara'. He played a totally unglamorous role for the first time in his life and yet people just loved the penchant with which he did it. Later, he also played the role of a small town boy in 'Aarakshan'. He copied the small town style of wearing formal pants, sleeveless sweater and wrapping a muffler around his neck.
