- Reversible Jacket – Amalraj Sen Gupta, an alumni of NIFT, Kolkata has come up cool reversible jacket that can be a trendy handbag in no time. According to the designer, his designs are based on the movie Transformers where a machine transforms into a robo. The sleeveless jacket also works like a raincoat in monsoon as it also has a hood and otherwise, a simple duffel bag that can carry all your stuff where ever you go.
- Reversible Coats – Another flexible fashion designer Pawan Sachdev has come up with a convertible coat that can be worn in three different ways. The NIFT, Delhi student designed the exclusive outfit keeping men in mind as he feels that men have limited clothing options to choose. The two button formal coat can become a bandhgala or a high collared jacket that can match different occasions.
- Recycle Fashion - “Recycling" clothes was a new concept to the fashion industry and got more light after Niki Mahajan's “Manthan". The designer has come up with reversible clothes made of leftover pieces of other collections. Today recycling is a big thing in fashion and an added support to reversible clothing. It is called coordinated fashion today, and is in great boom.
In short, the reversible clothing concept itself is a new trend in the fashion industry, the idea is practical, applicable and money saving.
