Tips For The Best Indian Bridal Makeup
Indian bridal makeup has now been taken over by salons and professionals from the aunts and cousins who did it earlier. That has been detrimental because professionals forget that unlike film stars people are not looking at the bride just through the camera. Here are some bridal makeup tips for the Indian bride so that she is glamourous and natural at once.
Ideal Indian Bridal Makeup:
1. Base Makeup: The base makeup is where it all goes wrong because the beautician is determined to make you look fairer than you are, typical white skin fetish! Your base makeup should match your skin tone perfectly. Just because it is your wedding don't choose a shade lighter; it makes you look artificial. Also apply some ice on your face before the base is applied so that the makeup lasts longer.
2. Eye Makeup Tips: This is the most tricky part of the Indian bridal makeup. As the saying goes, Indian women have the most enchanting eyes, at once shy and playful. Do not spoil such mysterious eyes with green, blue or other rabid coloured eye shadows. The best eye makeup tip is to use thick black kohl (kajal) to draw your eyes doe shaped and use a eye shadow that is a shade of either red or brown. You cannot skip mascara for your lashes at any cost.
3. Lip Makeup: Never use an outlandish shade of lip colour for your wedding day. The wedding outfit is mostly red (can be pink or orange at most) so limit your choice of shade to maroons and reds. Do not make the obvious mistake of choosing bright blood red or else you will look like a vampire bride. Tone it down to a richer shade.
4. Cheeks: Pan cake makeup is not the only way to look 'bright' on your D-Day. Cheek makeup should be minimal because everything else is loud. Just a hint of red flush will do and use a very fine matt gold dust for the glow or else there will be shinny gold patches on your cheeks.
5. Decorative Art: Indian Bridal makeup usually includes decorating the forehead with shinning beads or sandal paste. This too should be minimal so that the beauty of the design is appreciated. Don't try crowded or complicated designs.
Use these bridal makeup tips for Indian brides to look perfect on your wedding. The beauty tips for women getting married is to flaunt your best parts not overdo it.
