7 Rules For Gorgeous Asian Eyes Makeup!
Here are some basic rules to get the perfect makeup for Asian eyes
7
Rules
For
Asian
Eyes
Makeup:
1.
Draw
Your
Eyes
Like
A
Doe:
The
typical
'doe-eyed'
makeup
is
a
salient
feature
of
Asian
eyes
makeup.
You
need
to
draw
your
eyes
in
a
specific
way
with
the
eye
liner
and
kohl
(kajal)
pencil.
Start
with
a
narrow
line
over
the
inner
portion
of
the
eyes
and
thicken
it
around
the
edges.
This
gives
the
eyes
an
attractive
wide
eyed
look
that
is
very
special
to
Asian
women.
2. Arch Your Eyebrows With Pencils: The shape of Asian eyes are such that they look more prominent with arched eyebrows. So to replicate the Asian look you need to either thread your eyebrows really high or else give them the arched effect with an eye pencil. The shade of the eye pencil should match the colour of your eyebrow hair suitably. Pull the line of your eyebrows from the edges and give it a slight peak.
3. Jet Black Is Not A Compulsion: Usually there is a misconception that Asian eyes are always jet black or they use jet black makeup to make their eyes darker. Actually lighter shades like coffee brown or midnight blue can give the same effect to your eyes, if you have deep black eyes then you can use black but if you have light eyes go for deep brown shades.
4. Smudged Look: To get smokey eyes makeup that is typical of this look apply gel or lotion on your eyelid and then draw them with a eye pencil. Rub a little more gel and smudge the contours of your upper eyelid.
5. Mascara Should Be Minimal: Never use too much mascara with this style of makeup because artificially stiff eyelashes will make you look pinched. Mascara should only be used for the curve of your lashes.
6. Darker Shades Of Eyeshadow For Asian Eyes: Use deep shades like brown hues, royal blue and mauve as standard Asian eyeshadow because they lend depth to your eyes and the look in general. If you use light pink or cream it will kill the intensity of the look.
7. Highlight Brow Bone: Apply some highlighter like white or cream on your brow bone to bring out the contrast with your deep eyeshadow and make your eyes more prominent. Merge it well with your dark eyelids so that it doesn't stand out awkwardly.
