Kajol is not only celebrated for her talent and beauty but also for her resilience and strength. Beyond her successful career in the film industry, Kajol has demonstrated her fortitude on a personal level as well.
As an able mother of two, and celebrating her 49, Kajol has faced numerous challenges, including the heart-wrenching experience of suffering two miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy. However, instead of letting these setbacks define her, Kajol has used them as stepping stones to come back even stronger.
On the occasion of Kajol's 49th birthday, let us take a look at some of the wellness tips she swears by!
1. For healthy skin, drink plenty of water
"I drink a lot of water and I think that is very, very important. We minimise the importance of water in our lives," she shared in an interview. And we cannot agree with her more!
2. A balanced diet and workout routine
To ensure that she sticks to her diet and workout plan, Kajol likes to plan ahead. "I'm definitely more conscious about my diet than I was earlier. I'm more in charge of it, so I plan it. I'm very conscious about what I eat, where I eat and how much I eat," she shared with Vogue.

On the go, she relies on smoothies to provide her with all the nutrients she needs. "I am currently having a kale, sprout and wheatgrass smoothie, which, considering the time most veggies take to prepare, works out perfectly.
Kajol likes to switch up her workouts - pilates and Western dance are her preferred workouts.
3. Sleep!
"A good night's sleep, even if you need an aid to do it," she shared in an interview - and amen to that sister!

4. Stick to your skincare routine
Kajol prefers keeping her skincare routine simple, even if it includes multiple steps - especially when it comes to anti-ageing skincare. "I wash my face at least twice a day and I have to go to sleep with a clean face," she said, emphasising the significance of removing your makeup before going to sleep.
