Baking soda is one among the commonly available ingredients in every kitchen. Including baking soda in your skin care and hair care routine is inexpensive, effective as well as it is free of any allergy.

Baking soda is alkaline in nature, which contains antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties that help to clear out the clogged pores on the scalp and thereby promote healthy hair growth.

Baking soda is effective when it is used for a short period and hence you should prefer using these remedies if you are looking for a temporary fix for your hair problems.

1. To Treat Stinky And Smelly Scalp

If you often struggle with this problem, you should prefer using baking soda in your daily hair care routine. Take one spoon of baking soda and add some water to it. Now apply this paste to your roots and wash off after 20 minutes.

If you have extremely rough and dry hair, baking soda can help to moisturize your hair and also improve the hair texture. You can use baking soda water as an after-rinse to improve the hair texture and also to keep your scalp healthy. Take one cup of baking soda and add half a cup of warm water. Mix both the ingredients together and wash your scalp with this mixture. Wash off with cold water later. Use this twice in a week to get an improved hair texture.

Instead of trying several products to treat your limp hair, it is good to switch to baking soda for guaranteed results. Take half a cup of baking soda and add some lukewarm water to it. Now add 5-6 spoons of apple cider vinegar and mix everything together. Apply this mixture on the scalp and wash off with cold water to treat the limp hair condition.
