How To Straighten Your Hair Correctly
You can never go wrong with straight hair. And here's how you can straighten your hair correctly.
Poker straight hair is making its way back into the beauty scene and into our hearts. Did you think straight hair was long gone? No, it definitely has not. That's why, you need to know how to straighten your hair correctly!
Since poker straight hair is coming back in trend, it is really important for you to do it correctly, as the wrong ways to do this could damage your hair a lot. Of course, we don't suggest for you to straighten your hair every single day.
But did you know that if you do it correctly, you wouldn't have to do it too often and that it would last for a few days at the very least? Now that seems a lot safer than having to straighten your hair every single day, doesn't it?
If you look at recent pictures, you will see a lot of celebrities sporting this style. If you are blessed with naturally straight hair, you would not need to make much of an effort to get this. But if you have wavy or curly hair, it can take some time.
So, here's how to straighten your hair correctly. Have a look at these tips on how to straighten your hair yourself.

1. Comb:
Comb your hair, so that there are no knots or tangles. Having tangled hair can make it a lot more difficult to straighten hair and even more easy for you to damage your hair. This is the key step in how to straighten your hair correctly, which must not be skipped.

2. Heat Protect:
A heat-protecting cream or mist is an absolute must if you are straightening your hair. Heat styling can be really damaging to your hair in the long run and these creams or sprays can create a barrier between the tool and your hair.

3. Blow Dry:
After your hair is protected, make your hair more set and in place by blow drying it. Once the blow drying is done, you can move on to the next step.

4. Divide Sections:
Now that your hair is set in place, divide it into small sections and clip them up. The sections can be whichever size you are comfortable with.

5. Straighten Sections:
Now, loosen up one section at a time and straighten that section. You may have to run the straightener across each section more than once, till it is perfectly straight. Handle the tool carefully and keep it aside when combing and taking sections, if you are a beginner.

6. Serum:
Set your hair by using some serum. This will help the straight hair last longer and give your hair a nice added shine.
