If its hair care, then it is safe to go natural than trying chemical and artificial products. Eggs are great conditioners for hair but vegans cannot use them as it is the animal product. Some, even otherwise, do not prefer it because of the stinking odour. There are several vegan hair care recipes that have equivalent effect of the eggs. Take a look.

1. Oil Pack – Mix 1 big spoon of castor, almond, olive, coconut and gingelly oils in an iron pan. Heat it for about 2 minutes and add curry leaves, henna leaves. Allow the mixture to cool.
Apply the oil pack with finger tips. Massage scalp well for at least 15 minutes and soak hair for atleast an hour. For the oil to seap in, sunbath for a while or cover hair with a hot wet towel.
The oil pack is highly rich in protein, prevent dryness of the scalp, cures dandruff, makes hair thick and black.

2. Natural vegan shampoo recipe – The amara powder mixed acacia concinna and amla powder (gooseberry powder) works as natural shampoo. Amara gives lather while acacia powder remove the all the oil completely. Amla powder provides nourishment with washing.

3. Vegan Hair Care Recipe For Dandruff – Fenugreek seeds are a wonder medicine for dandruff problem. Soaked seeds are ground into paste, mixed with curd/yogurt and applied all over the scalp. Fenugreek kills the bacteria and yogurt prevents dryness. The smell of fenugreek is also good unlike eggs.

4. Natural Hair Colour Recipe – To cover grey hair, there is no better vegan hair care. Henna powder mixed with lemon tea (without sugar) can be an excellent hair dye. The dicoction with henna gives a natural burgundy , prevent scalp infection as well as gives shine. The best 3 in 1 package.

5. Quick Tips: If you still find dandruff on hair after wash, our tips will help you greatly. Add a drop of almond oil and some vinegar to a cup of water. With the help of ear buds or a ball of cotton, dab the scalp with the mixture.
