Basic Body Care Tips That You Must Know
Are you looking for a one-stop guide for complete body care? Then you are definitely at the right place. In this article, we'll be discussing some of the most common body care issues and the remedies to treat them.
These issues occur due to some common factors like pollution, overexposure to the sun, lifestyle, excess usage of chemicals, etc. If the ready-made remedies are not helping you, then it's high time for you to turn to some natural ways of dealing with such issues.

By natural ways, we mean remedies using some common ingredients that are cost-effective and are easily available in your household. So let us have a look at what those are.
1. Glowing Skin
Our skin tends to look dull after a long and tiring day. So your skin needs some rejuvenation when you get back home after a long day. Below are two remedies that you can try for an instant glowing and healthy skin.
Remedies
Mix together 1 tsp of lemon juice, 1 tsp of glycerine and 1 tsp of rose water. Apply this on your face and leave it on for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes rinse it off with normal water. Rich in Vitamin C, this mixture will not only help in brightening the skin but also will help in boosting the production of collagen on the skin.
Another alternative you can try is a pack using honey and milk. Mix together 1 tbsp milk and ½ tsp honey. Apply this all over your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Later rinse it off with normal water.
2. Dark Underarms
Dark underarms may stop you from flaunting those favourite sleeveless tops and dresses. Try these home remedies to lighten your underarms.
Remedy
Cut a lemon into two halves and rub it under your arms for 15 minutes just before you go to bath. Do this twice everyday for better results. Since lemon contains Vitamin C it helps in removing dead cells from the skin and enables skin brightening.
Another remedy is to mix together 1 tbsp lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric and apply it under the arms. Let it stay for 10 minutes and rinse it off with warm water.
3. Wrinkles Around Eyes
Wrinkles appearing around the eyes are one of the earliest stages of ageing. Follow the below remedy to attain a wrinkle free skin.
Remedy
Mix together 3 tbsp of raw milk and 3 tbsp of organic honey. Gently heat this mixture and apply it around your eyes. Make sure to leave it on for 20 minutes and then rinse it off in warm water.
4. Suntan
If your regular sunscreens are not working out, then you should try the below remedy to get rid of suntans effectively.
Remedy
All you need to do is to mix together 1 tbsp of yogurt and ½ tsp of honey and apply it on the affected area. Wash it off after 10-15 minutes. Since yogurt contains lactic acid it helps in exfoliating the skin and evening the skin tone by removing the dead skin cells.
5. Weak Nails
Our nails become weak and begin to break off when there is a lack of moisturisation on the nails. To stop this your nails need to have constant hydration.
Remedy
Add 2-3 tbsp of olive oil in a bowl. Soak your nails in this for 10-15 minutes. Do this every day to make your nails strong and stop brittle nails.
6. Dry Skin
Lack of moisturisation on the skin leads generally leads to dry skin. If not taken care of properly, this can lead to other skin-related issues like redness and itchiness on the skin.
Remedy
Mix together ½ cup of curd and 1 tsp of vinegar and apply it on the affected areas. You can apply this pack anywhere except your face. This is because vinegar is acidic in nature and can affect sensitive skin.
