The Ill Effects Of Using Hair Removal Creams

Written By:

One of the most common ways of hair removal that we have been initiated into is hair removal creams. But, we have found that there are quite a lot of ill or side effects of using hair removal creams.

So, let's see what they are, apart from the absolutely pungent smell that they come with. Really, that smell can burn our noses, can't it? It is a very easy method of hair removal, and not to mention, very economical as well.

This can be done in the comfort of your home, and is good for people who think that shaving would make their skin and hair growth rough. However, when considering these bad effects that hair removal creams come with, you'd better want to opt for other hair removal methods.

Hair removal creams are usually high on chemicals and may not suit all skin types. They definitely must not be tried on sensitive skin. Or even if you want to, it is suggested to patch test the product first on a small area of the skin.

So, here are all the ways that hair removal creams can be actually really bad for you.

1. Not Long Lasting:

The much-promised smoothness will last you for about 2-3 days at the most. And there isn't really a point to going through all of that trouble to have it last for such little time.

2. Smell:

No matter how many amazing floral fragrances they claim to come in, they all seem to have that disgusting smell! Ewww! That's definitely one reason to keep these creams away.

3. Rashes:

People are quite prone to developing rashes after using these creams. This is exceptionally true for people who have sensitive skin. These rashes and boils can be quite painful and they appear red, which basically beats the purpose of removing your hair to get even more discomfort.

4. Dark Skin:

It can cause darkening of the skin in a lot of cases, especially if done on the underarm region. Not all skin types go well with these, no matter what the advertisements claim. This is one of the worst side effects that hair removal creams can have on our skin.

5. Coarse Hair:

It may not work too well for women who already have thick or coarse hair. They may need to apply huge amounts of the cream to get rid of all of the hair, which may not be a cheap option at all, considering how expensive a small box is.
