Masks To Include Before Taking Bath
Every one of us wants to achieve something in life and we work tirelessly to reach our goals. We have endless responsibilities at home and office every single day. Completing these responsibilities will leave us very little time for ourselves.
After a tiring day we usually de-stress ourselves by soaking in the bath tub or taking a long hot shower. It will help us get rid of all the germs and impurities and also help us loosen our nerves and release stress. Bathing is in fact a great way to de-stress. Taking a bath in the morning will awaken your whole body and bathing in the evening will help you relax and make you sleep better.
Bathing may a daily routine for many. But once in a while, take some time off for yourself and indulge in a luxurious bath routine to completely rejuvenate yourself.
Here we will be telling you about certain treatments and masks that you can indulge in before taking a bath. The ingredients required for these treatments are completely natural and can be easily found in most homes. These treatments will make your skin and hair looking great. What more....There are no harsh chemicals used.
1) Hair
First, let us start with the hair. Our hair is the most exposed part of our body and is often damaged due to stress and pollution. Here is a moisturizing and repairing hair mask that will nourish your hair and make them super soft to touch.
Banana and honey super moisturizing hair mask-
Bananas are rich in potassium which will heal damaged hair. Honey is natural humectant which will moisturize. Coconut oil will repair any damage to your hair.
Ingredients-
-1 ripe banana
-2 tablespoons coconut oil
-1 tablespoon honey
Method-
1) Mash the ripe banana.
2) Mix it with the other two ingredients to make a paste.
3) Apply this mixture liberally onto the hair and leave on for 15 minutes.
2) Face-
Although you may have a set beauty routine for your face every day, giving it extra treatment sometimes will make your skin glow. The products that you apply every day on your face may not be able to give you that glow. Also, you notice that your skin looks dry, dull and tired. You may also have a sun tan. In order to get rid of these problems, you need ingredients that will help get rid of the tan and make your skin glow.
Aloe Vera and turmeric face mask-
This is an ancient remedy which will solve all your skin problems. The aloe Vera will repair your skin; the turmeric will kill the harmful bacteria and the besan will help get rid of any pigmentation.
Ingredients-
-1 freshly cut aloe Vera leaf
-1/2 teaspoon a turmeric powder
-1 tablespoon of besan
Method-
1) Cut the Aloe leaf horizontally and scoop out the gel.
2) Mix it with the rest of the ingredients.
3) Apply onto the face and keep on for 15 minutes.
3) Body-
Now that the hair and face is sorted, the rest of the body remains. Exfoliation is very important step in your body care routine. It is very important to exfoliate your skin in order to get rid of dead cells. New layer of cells will replace the dead ones and this will make your skin glow. Exfoliating your skin will also help get rid of the tan. Here is a simple home-made remedy to make an exfoliating scrub at home.
Brown sugar and oatmeal body scrub-

3) Use this to scrub your hands and legs, giving special attention to dry and rough areas like the ankles, feet and elbows.
4) Final bath-
-Fill your bath tub with warm water and add a few drops of any essential oil of your choice. Also, add a little Epsom salts. Light a few scented candles to create a soothing environment.
-Now rinse off your hair and face pack. Step into the tub and soak yourself for at least 20-30 minutes.
-You will feel relaxed, rejuvenated and completely positive after this relaxing and luxurious bath. Make sure to do this at least once a week.
