Why Worry? What Is The Hurry?

Worry, Chinmayananda
Why worry? What is the hurry? Pause. Take a deep breath and pick from the wayside fields of life that which can heal you within. Roam and stroll in unhurried steps to admire the world - pondering over the amazing wonders stretched around you up to the horizon and beyond. But how can I?

The inner heart that has spun a web of silence around itself will easily absorb all turmoils arising within and shocks reaching from without. Life becomes a sport when you have learned the art of splashing silver linings to all passing clouds that pass and re-pass your bosom. Sorrow turns into smiles, pain into pleasure, discord into melody when mind is poised in its unshaken faith in Him, who always protects: who alone is in everything, everywhere, ever; be full, joyous, cheerful. But how can I?

Take your time or time will take you. If you employ time you are the master of time. If not, time will employ you, and you become a slave of time. Slow down; meditate upon that which is beyond the earth's problems and worldly things. In a quiet place await peacefully, joyfully with a receptive heart to receive Him! But how can I?

If you can dream it, in you are the means to make it true. Let your faith in the Highest drive you on to achievements - to leap for and gain the impossible even. Dreams become fulfilled at the magic touch of consistent faith and cheerful endeavour. When faith is firm you can move mountains. But how can I?

You CAN, You WILL. This art is expounded in Vedanta.
