It is believed to help in clearing mental distractions and bringing a sense of balance through simple practices like fasting, prayer, and mindful behaviour. Do's To Follow On Mohini Ekadashi 2026
1. Start your day early and clean
- Wake up before sunrise
- Clean your home, especially the puja space
- Take a bath and wear fresh clothes
2. Observe the fast as per your capacity
- Nirjala vrat: no food or water
- Phalahar vrat: fruits, milk, dry fruits, water
- Avoid grains like rice, wheat, and pulses
3. Offer prayers to Lord Vishnu
- Worship Lord Vishnu (Lakshmi Narayan form)
- Light a ghee diya
- Chant "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya"
- Recite or listen to Vishnu Sahasranama
4. Stay spiritually engaged
- Read or listen to Mohini Ekadashi Vrat Katha
- Do bhajans, meditation, or mantra chanting
- Visit a Vishnu temple if possible

6. Follow discipline in conduct
- Maintain brahmacharya (celibacy) for better focus
7. Break the fast at the correct time
