Char Dham Yatra 2023: A Step By Step Tutorial For Online And Offline Registration
Located in close proximity to each other, in the Garhwal Himalayan Mountain ranges of Uttarakhand, the four divine shrines of char Dhams, that include Gangotri (Ganga), Yamunotri (Yamuna), Kedarnath (Lord Shiva), and Badrinath (Lord Vishnu) welcome devotees from all regions, to confer all the worldly pleasures, and to finally liberate them from the worldly bondage.

Firstly, be assured that Char Dham yatra packages are not exorbitantly priced. They can be customized as per your preferences, the itineraries can be modified, and the package can be altered as per your requirements at no extra cost.
Before you plan for your yatra, you need to register yourself first, and packages are available for you to choose from. After completing the registration, biometric cards that offer a number of special facilities are issued to Pilgrims. You can register both ways, on line or off line.
Online Registration
For the entire yatra, you need to have biometric registration and only for the darshan, you need the e-pass registration.
Biometric Registration
1. Get your registration done on the official website of Char Dham Yatra. Go to https://registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in
2. Click on "Register" button, on the page. You can register yourself either as an individual or as a family.
3. Fill up the correct details on the registration page and then click on Register option. An account will be created.
4. Sign in and check your name on the dashboard.
5. Click on Create/Manage tour. 'Plan Your Trip Page' will open. There click on Add new tour.'
6. Add details such as tour type, destination, and more.
7. Save all the entries.
8. Add a pilgrim number. It will lead you to a 'Registration of Tourist' form.
9. Enter the details here and save it.
10. Your yatra registration letter with a QR code can be now downloaded. Check your SMS that carries your unique ID.
11. After verification, you can get the 'Yatri Certificate.
12. You can also make use of 'Tourist Care Uttarakhand' app for a better assistance.
13. Char Dham registration and payment confirmation slip will be sent to your registered email, the print out of which you should carry throughout your trip.
Yatra E-Pass
1. Visit the official website of Uttarakhand Char Dham Devasthanam Management Board.
2. Enter your Biometric Registration ID and registered mobile number. Enter the captcha and then proceed.
3. If you do not have a biometric registration ID then you can still download the ePass by just filling in the registered mobile number. Fill in the OTP to authenticate the mobile number and then enter Captcha and proceed.
4. You can now download the epass. Have a print out of this throughout your journey.
Offline Registration
1. You can find over 50 counters which can help you register yourself. You can enter the queue for any counter to get the registration done.
2. Haridwar, Rishikesh, Janki Chatti, Gangotri, Guptkashi, Phata, Sonprayag , Kedarnath, Pandukeshwar, Govindghat, and Uttarkashi have offline registration counters to serve pilgrims.
3. Carry your Aadhar card, Voter ID card, Driving License, or Passport, and Mobile/Phone Number.
4. Most importantly carry your covid vaccination certificates. Incase you haven't got yourself vaccinated; be ready to attend a covid test. In case you are found infected with covid during the journey you will be sent back for check-up.
