Ayodhya Ram mandir Pran Pratishtha: How To Do Shri Ram Puja At Home On 22 January 2024

Not only India, but the entire world is waiting for the historic event of Lord Ram's consecration in his birthplace Ayodhya, which is slated to happen on 22 January 2024.

Preparations are in full swing for months to make this event a success. Invitations have been sent to 7000 dignitaries and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will grace the event as the chief guest.

The auspicious moment is here for which all the Ram devotees were eagerly waiting. While for general public the temple will open from 23 Janaury, so if you want to worship Ram Lalla on the day of consecration ceremony at your puja room or temple, then follow this method for happiness and prosperity in your home.

1. On this day, wake up early in the morning, take bath and clean the temple, then sprinkle Ganga water all over the house and make Swastikas on both sides of the main door. Make sure to put a saffron flag in the name of Lord Ram on the parapet of the roof of the house.

2. If you do not have an idol of Ramlala in your house, then bring a new idol home on the auspicious occasion of 22 January. Lord Ram was born in Abhijeet Muhurta, hence this Muhurta is considered best to worship him. The auspicious time of Ramlala's life consecration is from 12:29 pm 8 seconds to 12:30 minutes 32 seconds.

3. If there is an idol of Ramlala in your house, then first perform Jalabhishek of that idol and bathe it with Panchamrit. After this, once again bathe the idol with water and install it in your temple.

4. Light a ghee lamp in front of Lord Shri Ram. Then offer incense, flowers and tilak. On this special day, burn camphor and show its smoke throughout the house.

5. Keep kheer, sweet rice, flour panjiri, panchamrit, sweets, fruits and dry fruits etc. in the offering.

6. Start worshiping Lord Ram with Ram Janam Stuti. The birth praise of Shri Ram should be something like this: Pragata Kripala Deendayala, Kausalya Beneficial. Harshit Mahtari Muni lost his mind and had a wonderful form, poor girl.

7. On the day of Pran Pratistha, chant the name of Sitaram 11 times in Abhijeet Muhurta with a rosary of 108 grains of Tulsi.

8. If you wish, you can also recite Shri Ram Raksha Stotra on this day. By doing this, Lord Ram will always keep his blessings on you.

9. Be sure to perform Aarti of Lord Ram during worship.

10. You can get the story of Ramayana narrated from a knowledgeable Brahmin.

11. Light lamps all over the house in the evening and celebrate Diwali with happiness. Light a ghee lamp at the main entrance, it is considered a symbol of the arrival of Lord Shri Ram.

12. By worshiping Lord Rama with true devotion, all your wishes will be fulfilled and you will always be happy in life, that is why it is said, "Ja par kripa Ram ki hoi, ta par kripa karahin sab koi."
