Trust god But Tie Up Your Camel !

Sufi Story
A beautiful Sufi story lays emphasis on adopting a practical approach to life at the same time being devoted to god.

A man once stopped by a mosque on his way back home from the market with his camel. He left his camel outside and settled to pray.

The man offered prayers for several hours thanking Allah, and promised to be an ideal Muslim in the future, help the poor and turn out to be an upstanding pillar of his community.

The man after finishing his prayers emerged out of the mosque. To his surprise, the camel was missing. He immediately flew into a rage and started abusing god, shaking his fist at the sky, yelling.

"You traitor! How could you do this to me? I placed all my trust in you but you stabbed me on my back!"

A Sufi dervish who passed by, chuckled hearing the man shouting.

"Listen!," The dervish said, "Trust god, but tie up your camel!"
