Mulla Nasruddin was once throwing a handful of crumbs around his house.

A by-passer grew intrigued by Mullah's queer behaviour and questioned, “What are you doing?"

“Keeping the tigers away," said Mullah Nasruddin.

“But there are no tigers in these parts," said the surprised man.

“Thats right. Effective isn't it?" said Mullah Nasruddin.
