Go For Mr Fair, If You Cant Find Mr Perfect!

By Staff

The ladies of 30's and above are advised to go for Mr. Second Best, or Mr. Fair, if their search for Mr. Perfect could not yield any results.

The advice is given by , the author of “Marry Him: The Case Fore Settling For Mr. Good Enough" She is a 40 year old single parent. She says that ladies can stay happier in the long run, if they do so in case they do not find the Mr. Perfect in their dreams.

If we ask any 40 years or above old single heterosexual lady about the things she longs most for in the life, the answer will be a good husband, adds Gottlieb. It is never a better career, a big apartment or a smaller waistline. A child may be there by an extension of a good husband, too. In her opinion, ladies crave the Big Love.

It will be painful and unbearable for anybody who is out there. Ladies always dream and admire good marriage. But we should also be more realistic in the analysis of the cold, hard benefits of the marriage, too says Gottlieb. This will help the ladies do the thing differently. If ladies hold out for a romantic love, they may dream that that level of passion can make them happier. But having the alliance with a Mr. Fair can also be equally good, if someone looks for a reliable partner.

The aspects which make a good romantic rapport may not provide a good marriage. Marriage can never be a passion fest. It makes us a partner to go on with small, mundane and sometimes boring business, says Gottlieb. So she advises the ladies, to get out from the fantasy world and be practical.

The famous author Elizabeth Gilbert does not consider marriage as the ultimate goal for women. Through her new book, “Committed: A Skeptic Makes Peace With Marriage", she conveys that it is not a magical answer for ladies. The expectations of love lead us to the marriage. But those who are married may suffer a lot due to depression, than the single women. They also cannot be much successful in the careers, as the single ladies. She advises the ladies, not to get lose in the exchange vows.
