We all grow up amidst certain social conditions that shape our minds. Of course, some of us may grow beyond those beliefs while some of us get stuck somewhere.
But at the end of the day, we all may need to look beyond certain concepts that are outdated. The people around us or the society may somehow condition our thinking during the growing years.
But as we grow up, we can manage to put aside certain toxic ideas and move into a mature mind set. Here are some beliefs that people around us have fed us during our growing years...

Fact #1
If you have too much of desire, people around you might treat you like a creep. And if you have no desire at all, again people around you might treat you like an impotent person. At the end of the day, your desire and drive are yours and only you have to deal with them. There's nothing wrong in having no interest at all in physical relationships.

Fact #2
Another misconception that the people around us have made us believe is that too much of lovemaking loosens the vagina. Well, experts say that there is no evidence to prove this fact till now.

Fact #3
We have grown up among people who believe that size of genitals is a very important aspect of self-esteem! Men are expected to have bigger size and women are expected to have their privates tight. Such concepts seem ridiculous once a person experiences the bliss in love and compatibility in relationships.

Fact #4
Another toxic idea is virginity. As the world is progressing, people are realizing that we don't need to stress too much on the concept of virginity.

Fact #5
The movies we watch made us believe that one should perform well in the first meeting itself. In reality, more than half of the people take time in exploring the other person. So, the probability of performing well in the first meeting is very less.

Fact #6
Another idea that the living conditions around us made us believe is that only men should initiate or take the first step. Gone are those days. Today, women are educated, working and are overtaking men in many areas. Women can take the first step, propose or even ask a man out and that is perfectly normal.
