Cheese Onion Bell Pepper Pizza Recipe: How To Prepare Cheese Onion Bell Pepper Pizza

Cheese, onion and bell pepper pizza is an authentic dish adapted by Indians. Though pizza is a foreign dish, we present to you the scrumptious Indian version of this cheese, onion and bell pepper pizza recipe.
Cheese, onion and bell pepper pizza is prepared by making the pizza dough, pizza sauce and finally the toppings. All of these together make this a lip-smacking cheesy pizza.

Cheese, onion and bell pepper pizza is easy to make and doesn't require any expertise. All that a pizza requires is an oven to bake the base. Many opt for getting the pizza crust and sauce from outside. But we show you the preparation of the pizza base and the sauce as well.

For The Dough:
Maida - 3 cups (360 g) + for dusting
Water - 1 cup (warm)
Dry active yeast - 2 tbsp
Sugar - 1/4th tsp
Salt - 1/4th tbsp
Olive oil - 2 tbsp + for greasing
For The Pizza Sauce:
Tomato puree - 2 cups
Olive oil - 2 tbsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Tomato ketchup - 1/2 cup
Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
Garlic - 5-6 (chopped)
Mixed herbs - 2 tsp
Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
For The Toppings:
Red bell pepper - 1/2 (cut into 2-inch thin pieces)
Green bell pepper - 1/2 (cut into 2-inch thin pieces)
Yellow bell pepper - 1/2 (cut into 2-inch thin pieces)
Onion - 1 (cut into 2-inch thin slices)
Mozarella cheese - 1 cup (grated)
Oregano - 1 tbsp
Red chilli flakes - 1 tbsp
Pizza sauce - 1 cup

1. Smear the dough base with the pizza sauce.
2 . Spread the shredded mozarella cheese along with 2 teaspoons of oregano.
3 . Now, start by placing the cut yellow bell peppers around the corner of the base.
4. Then, place the red and green bell peppers.
5. Place the sliced onions all over the base to get its flavour in every bite.
6. Sprinkle some oregano and red chilli flakes on top.
7. Add some more cheese to complete the topping.
8. Now, place the pizza pan into a preheated oven (10 minutes).
9. Set it for 160 degree Celsius for 20 minutes.
10. Once done, remove the pan from the oven.
11. Cut it with a pizza cutter or a knife and serve hot.
- Knead the dough to a soft consistency. Do not worry if it's sticky before resting
- Make sure to use a large bowl/container, as the dough will rise when kept for resting
- Do not sauté the tomato and onions for too long while making the pizza sauce, as the tomatoes are already cooked
- The onion flavour ought to be a bit raw while eating
- The toppings can be of one's preference
- Make sure to grease the pizza pan well before the dough base is put over it.

STEP BY STEP HOW TO MAKE CHEESE ONION BELL PEPPER PIZZA
1. Smear the dough base with the pizza sauce.
2 . Spread the shredded mozarella cheese along with 2 teaspoons of oregano.
