Pregnant Working Women Dos & Donts

Pregnancy is a time when the woman needs rest as well as ample enough work to keep her body healthy and active. There are however do's and dont's for pregnant working women to follow and for these working women it is important to take good rest during this delicate period.
Here are some tips for pregnant working women
1.It is important for pregnant working women to not sit for long at their desks. At regular intervals, taking a walk is important for blood circulation in the body, especially for the legs, because during a certain month in pregnancy the feet become swollen.
2.The posture for sitting is also important. A pregnant woman needs to feel comfortable where ever she is sitting. Cushions can be placed for your lower back as it is the area to experience more of the pressure during pregnancy.
3.When ever you feel hungry, munch on healthy snacks which is good for you and the baby. Another important aspect for pregnant working women is to drink plenty of water or liquids like that of fresh juice which is good to keep dehydration at bay. Frequent urination is also a must even if you are in a meeting.
4.Keep in mind not to sit in rooms where there are smokers as it is very dangerous for you and the baby. In most offices, there are separate places for employees to smoke so make sure not to step foot in those dangerous areas.
5.It is very essential for pregnant working women to get good sleep for at least ten to eleven hours a day. It helps you to give your body energy and regularize health too for you and the baby in your womb.
Keep in mind that during this period the pregnant woman should avoid all ways to keep stress at bay. You can practice yoga and meditate while you are at work.
Another tip for pregnant women at a workplace is to avoid microwaves and video display terminals as the rays is not good during pregnancy.
