Tips To Get Rid Of Oily Hair In Pregnancy
Pregnancy is a phase of woman's life where a lot of changes take place in the woman's body. Oily scalp or hair is one of the common problems that women face during pregnancy.
The chemical imbalance in the body changes the texture of the hair in pregnancy. However, hair regains its texture back post delivery of the baby.
Hormonal fluctuations during pregnancy increase the production of sebum in the hair follicles. As a result of this, the hair tends to become oily and greasy over a period of time during pregnancy.
Oily hair can be controlled by following certain measures. Sticking to a healthy diet, eating foods rich in iron and vitamins are some of the factors that can help control the oiliness of the scalp.
Apart from that, there are few other remedies that can help get rid of the greasiness in the hair.
Therefore, in this article, we at Boldsky will be listing out some of the easy tips to get rid of an oily hair during pregnancy. Read on to know more about it.

Do Not Wash The Hair Often: Washing the hair too often to remove the grease may just worsen thecondition. This produces more oil in the scalp. Therefore, do not over wash your hair. Wash the hair with a gentle oil-removing shampoo once in a week.

Ditch The Conditioner: Conditioner is used to moisturise the hair. But, if the hair is already greasy, skip the process of conditioning it. And it is best to avoid chemical-based products during pregnancy.
Avoid Stress And Tension: Besides hormones, stress and tension also contribute to the way the hair feels. Stress produces the cortisol hormone and thus this hormone produces more oil making the hair look greasy.

Healthy Diet: What goes inside the body determines the condition of the hair. Stick to healthy fruits and vegetables. Include foods rich in iron and all vitamins. This adds more volume to the hair and also reduces hair loss and hair thinning.
Tomato Juice: Tomato is an easy way to get rid of the oiliness of the hair. Mix tomato juice with some multani mitti. Mix it well and apply it on to the hair. Leave it on for sometime and later rinse. This method helps in getting rid of the oily and greasiness of the hair easily.
