Side Effects Of An Abortion Pill
The abortion pill commonly known as mifepristone has been used for more than a decade by women around the globe. Abortion pills are either prescribed by a doctor or can be bought at any drug store without a prescription. The abortion pill is risky for women to use, especially if the woman has other health complications.
The usual side effects of an abortion pill is fever, which begins right after the Misoprostol administration in the body. The fever can last for less than 24 hours and can be less than 100.4 degree Fahrenheit or 38 degree Centigrade, which is a common side effect and nothing to worry about. However, if the fever lasts longer than a day and is much higher than the temperature expected, the woman must be rushed to the hospital immediately.
The other grave side effects of an abortion pill can be quite disturbing. Apart from fever, the woman also experiences heavy cramping and periods, which at times also need immediate medical attention, depending on the situation she is in.
