Read to know the right techniques that will help you enhance your hobby into art of profit.
;Light
Light is considered as the tricky element as its effects can make the photo mysterious or just dull and boring. Photographs of the same landscapes taken on the different lighting conditions and climate will look completely different. The light elicits different emotional responses. The best timing for any landscape would be around dawn and dusk. It allows you to add on magical and mystical quality to your picture with the bright warm colours and low angled lighting that enhances a fine texture of shadows to your picture. On the contrary the worst time to click the picture would be in the afternoon in the bright sun.
Weather
;;The weather need not be always calm cozy. You can take the best shots in fog, mist, rain and snow to create an impact on the most common landscapes too.
sky
For a most effective landscape picture, click it when the skies colour is natural blue with some fine fluffy or thin white clouds to give a dramatic significance. Make sure if you are including 2/3rd are of picture of landscape then let the 1/3rd of the area be covered by the sky and the vice- versa.
Flat horizons are the best for any landscape pictures. Avoid sloping horizons. If unavoidable then get it corrected later with the help of Photoshop.
Water
Water reflections double the beauty of a landscape. So ride on to a peaceful waterside with a mystical landscape for perfect mirror images.
Change positions
A landscape can be viewed in different angles. So give a variety to it. Move around or kneel on the ground, or change elevations by climbing on the rock or a tree for the right view. Compose the picture in such a way that the subject is presented the way you want it to be.
Take the picture from the north or the south of the landscape, as you will benefit from lateral light that pictures shapes and shadows aptly
Frame it well
Get a tripod while shooting any landscapes, lest if your hand shakes you will spoil the whole beauty. Know when everything is set, frame the picture carefully in the limited space. Tilt the camera up and down and side to side to have the right elements in your picture. You can have even other objects like flock of sheep or birds that interest you most. However make sure that they don't steal the limelight. Capture the entire scene for a fine moment that can be treasured for life.
