The Idea Of Creating This Started When His Wife Passed Away…

Bereft Winston Howes, who is a farmer by profession, had planted thousands of oak saplings in a six-acre field. He planted the seeds every single day in this plot. He left a heart-shaped area in the middle of the plot, and it was facing towards his wife's childhood home.

It Was Discovered Accidentally

This beautiful meadow cannot be seen from the road and according to sources, it had remained a family secret until a passing hot air balloonist took a picture from the air after discovering it accidentally.

The Devotion Is Amazing...

And as the remarkable picture here shows, his romantic labour of love has now grown into a mature meadow, a peaceful oasis where Mr. Howes can sit and remember his wife of 33 years.

He Revealed…

Mr Howles revealed, "I thought it was a great idea - it was a flash of inspiration - and I planted several thousand oak trees. Once it was completed we put a seat in the field, overlooking the hill near where she used to live."

The dedication he has had over the years makes us realise how much he loved his beloved wife. On regular days, it is seen that Mr. Howles loves to sit down in the heart-shaped meadow on a chair and look at the sky and recall the good times he spent with his beloved wife.
