Do you know why our day off is Sunday only and not any other day? Read this article to know more!
Sunday is the best day that we all look forward to! It's the day one does not wish to get out of bed, until they really are hungry. Having wifi, coffee and being in pajamas and lazing around is the best way most of us like to spend our Sundays.

Here, in this article, we are about to share the reasons as to why taking an off on Sundays is important when compared to any other day of the week.

This question has been bothering most of us, as to why Sunday should be a holiday and not any other day, especially when there are 6 other days in the week.

So, we bring to you the answer to this question as to why an off on Sunday is important!
The Britishers were the first ones to start the holiday system in India, which initiated during the year 1843. This was done because the Britishers believed that Lord Jesus created this world in just 6 days and took rest on a Sunday.

It is said that it is also the day on which people would generally take rest from other worldly duties and was known as the "Sabbath" day. This practice continues even till date in all places where the Britishers ruled, including India.

Apart from this, there is no such history as to why Sunday is the only day you need to take an off. Let the reason be anything, we all simply love to enjoy our Sundays, don't we ;)
