If we take a look at an Indian household, we can see several ways in which an Indian mother saves money on unwanted expenses. For example, even if you complain about the toothpaste getting over, your mother will press it hard to extract out all the remaining paste till the shape of the tube changes completely! In some cases, they also cut the toothpaste tube to use the sticking paste inside it.
Similarly, a lot of women do not keep maids and cooks as they are leisure expenses which can be saved by doing some self-physical household chores. They say, no one can clean the house better than the woman in charge of the household. Moreover, performing these household chores keeps you physically fit.
Sometimes, the Indian mothers also repair their 3-5 years old shoes by giving it for mending to the cobbler time and again till it damages completely. Here are some of the ways in which Indian moms save money and unwanted expenses.
BEST WAYS TO MAKE MONEY WITHOUT WORKING

Adding Water To Shampoo: When the shampoo is running out, they add water into the bottle. Squeeze it out till the water also finishes and is no more foamy.
Squeezing Out Toothpaste: From cutting the toothpaste pack to rolling the paste out of the tube using belan (rolling pin), Indian mothers do this act to make use of the paste completely!
Storing Bags: A lot of Indian women store polythene bags and covers together and use for grocery shopping. It is done to save cover/bag charges in the shop.
Using Oil: Fried food is very common in the Indian cuisine. As a lot of oil is wasted in frying, most of the women use the burned oil in sabji or to grease parathas.
Saving Newspapers: In most of the households, moms save the newspapers. They either use it in roti hot case or save too much to sell in the raddi (refuse).
Re-using Bottles: It is a nice way to recycle the bottles which become a waste after consuming. Most of the times, moms either use it as a water bottle or use as a bottle pot for gardening.
