All of us have friends. Some are just acquaintances, while others are quite close to us. There are childhood friends we grew up with who remain a part of our lives even after we have grown up and moved away. We also have one best friend to whom we share everything and anything. There are no secrets between best friends and they are often keepers of our souls.

By the time we graduate, get a job and settle down in life, we will have a gang of friends we hang out with regularly. There is all variety of people in this gang. One will be our best friend, a few will be quite close to us and we might not be quite comfortable with a few.

All friendship gangs consist of a few embarrassing friends as well. Certain aspects of their character can be funny and might get us a few laughs, but this same behaviour can also cause embarrassment to us.

A little childish: We have all known those young at heart funny friends with childish behaviour. Special dancer: Among our funny friends are those ‘special’ dancers. They think they have special dance moves, which everybody enjoys and they are not averse to display it in public. It can get you a few good laughs when you are feeling down, but can be embarrassing at a club or a party.

No secrets at all: Most people have no problem telling a few white lies to avoid an awkward situation or a big fat lie that can save one's life. But, we all have our share of funny friends who are unable to lie or keep a secret to save their own lives. The good thing is that you can completely trust them.

Flirty friend: We all have a few embarrassing friends who cannot help flirting with every other woman they meet, even your girlfriend. While it can be fun to have such a friend when you want to chat up a lady, it can also be embarrassing when others see you as the drab friend of a womaniser.

The grammar guru: Embarrassing friends are those who are sticklers to rules. They can be especially irritating or nagging when they are grammar gurus who insist on correcting you every time whether in public or on social networking sites. On one side, this will improve your language. But on the other side, it can be rather irritating.

Know-it-all friend: Know-it-all embarrassing friends can be quite irritating. They seem to know the answers to practically all questions under the sun. When they are around, you need not go to a library to do any research, but you also feel useless and illiterate. When around them in public, you may feel snubbed.
