Our work lives at work would be so dull if we have absolutely no fun in the office. Your office colleagues become your friends after a certain period of time. In fact, you make some of the strongest friendships in office after school and college. That is why office pranks just for the laughs is not just acceptable but even necessary.
Playing office pranks on your colleagues lightens the work environment and provides some much needed break from work. However, you must ensure that you do not hurt anybody's feelings while playing these practical jokes. Here are some of the common yet foolproof ways to play office pranks.
Crank Calls
Crank calls are probably the oldest trick in the book. However, if you have a well written plan of action, then this practical joke can be really funny. Target one person for the day and call him or her asking for some other colleagues; for example call X asking for Y. At the end of the day have Y called X and ask if he/she got any messages!
Loosen The Bolts
Go to office early and loosen the spring of your colleague's chair. So every time he/she sits on the chair it will sink.
The Buzzer
Keep a remote-controlled buzzer inside your colleague's drawer. Now every time your colleague touches his/her system, sound the buzzer like a burglar's alarm.
Wireless Mouse
Connect your colleague's system with a bluetooth mouse. Once your colleague starts working give your mouse a twirl or two. Your colleague will be totally baffled.
Ghost Stories
Tell your office colleague fake ghost stories about the car parking lot. If he or she believes then make a scary plan. Hide in the parking lot and wait for your colleague to turn up alone. When he/she does, shine a torch at him/her from the darkness.
The Freaky Doll
Keep a freaking doll hidden in your colleague's drawer. As soon as he or she opens the drawer, the doll will pop out and your friend will get freaked for sure. Dolls with bobbling heads are particularly good for this office prank.
Stick It Up
Stick the receiver of your colleague's telephone with high adhesion glue to the main telephone device. Now when the phone rings, your colleague will try to pick up the receiver but in vain. It will be a very funny sight to watch.
