Don't think big: Avoid expanding your business till the results show profit. It is safe to start with small budget and then observe. Don't advertise about the business till it sets up properly.

Avoid taking loan: Paying loans can be really troublesome. As mentioned earlier, avoid starting a business which requires huge capital. Paying the loan especially when the business doesn't do well can be difficult.

Don't buy equipments: This is one thing you should not do before starting the business. Try renting equipments if required, instead of buying them. It is a good idea to control expenses and doesn't make you regret as you spend less in renting than buying.
