Women Value Family More Than Career

Family Is Important

A new survey has revealed that majority of women opt for a healthy family life rather than a career.

Women who participated in the survey were aged between 18 and 65. Majority of the participants say that family is the single most important thing in their life.

The survey also proved that women generally have a “perfectionist" attitude in the aspects of their career and studies. But these goal oriented women also prefer a good family more than pursuing a good career. The results also revealed that the majority of women are not engaged with the other jobs or activities.

“Women are more assertive. When they get annoyed with the workplace, they"re more likely to express their dissatisfaction and leave," says a top officer of an organisation which promotes the gender quality. “Women have to do everything including the paid works in the office and the unpaid work in the family. The family responsibilities have not changed whether the women is working or not," adds the lady.

Highly ambitious women also do not want to sacrifice the family for their work. The women can be more contented if they could bring up a happy and strong family, even if they loss a good career, convinces this survey.
