Teacher,Thank You For Molding Me

Teachers Day Appreciation
Alexander the Great once said “I am indebted to my father for living, but to my teacher for living well".

A teacher is one significant person in a student"s life. This is because apart from parents and family the child spends most of the time at school and it is in school that the character of a child is molded.

This molding is done by the teacher. The teacher is like a potter and the child is the clay. She takes what is plain nothingness almost, and changes that clay into a beautiful pot that can be used and can be helpful in a million ways. By this it implies that the child is given to the teacher by being normal and it is the teacher who actually gives the child"s life some direction in life by finding the child"s area of interest and helping them in that.

A teacher is one who teaches, one who loves, one who guides, one who sacrifices, one who imparts values and the only one who can truly understand the child. A teacher gives us important lessons that life offers and also our everyday lessons from our books. A teacher puts in great Effort in everything she does for the child. A teacher"s efforts are immense. A teacher helps us in ascending in life, in the sense that what she plants today in our mind may one day help us become a great person.

In our Indian tradition we follow the saying - teacher comes before god and after Mother and father i.e.) Matha(mother), Pitha(father), Guru(teacher) , Devo(God). This could also mean that the teacher is so important in one"s life because it is also the teacher who taught the child about God and other religious values that the child ought to know.

The teacher plays a very vital role in society so as to help build society and to have a better and brighter tomorrow. We must always respect, honor and be grateful to all our teachers who have taught us most of the things that we keep till the end. Thank you teachers.
