Who Are They?
Maria Garcia and her husband Miguel Restrepo were once drug addicts. They met, doped, fell in love and decided to stay together.
The World Was A Tough Place For Them...
As they fell in love, they decided to start a new life and wanted to give up on their drug addiction and live together. But unfortunately it was a tough time as their families and friends disowned them.
Sewer Is Their Shelter!
When they had no money or a shelter to stay, this sewer was a saviour for them! They started living in this unique home.
This Little Sewer Has Many Amenities!
They have electricity, with lights, heat, a little kitchen and even a TV hooked up. Everything is there in this little sweet home!
They Also Have A Pet!
They even have a doggie named 'Blackie', who takes care of their house while the couple is away.
This Location Is Quite Peaceful
Their house is far from the bustle of the city and is quite peaceful. The couple enjoys decorating their sweet home during festivals.
They Do Not Wish To Leave!
When people asked them, if they would wish to move to a better place, they said that they wished to stay in the same house as it gave them shelter in the times when the world had denied any help.
