WIFW ’15: Atsu Presents Structured Pastels
Finally, the ramp of WIFW 2015 is heating up. We have the first big designer brand present its collection at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2015 Spring Summer. Atsu's WIFW 2015 collection comprised of silken weaves in pastel shades and elaborately structured gowns. The fluidity of the outfits is what really caught our eye. The outfits seems to flow on their own. There was not a single jarring note in this collection; it was like a smooth symphony.

The silken with satin finish was molded into short off-shoulder dresses with crystal embellishments. The flared mini dresses comprised the first part of the collection. After that came trousers, skirts and gowns. The gowns and tops were mostly structured. The ruffle detail has been used extensively in the Atsu collection for WIFW 2015.

Another notable detail was the flared sleeves that was used with excellent effect. We saw the use of flared sleeves for an Retro effect in another collection on Day 1 of WIFW 2015. This stylistic element was used even in the Hemant and Nandita collection earlier today. But here, flared sleeves were used for a completely different effect.

The showstopper's outfit was a red and white gown with a long train that was embroidered in gold. We will surely see this dual coloured gown on the cover of some magazine in the coming season. Some the pastels and tassels in this collection will definitely get picked by celebrities. Kareena Kapoor is a big fan of Atsu. We wonder which dress from this collection she will pick?
