Raki is an unusual liqueur brewed in Turkey. ‘Lion's milk' as Raki is known consists of grapes with the flavour of anise seeds.

Campari
The distinct red colour and bitter taste set it apart from other liqueurs. The brewing of this liqueur is done using a number of herb available in Novara, Italy.

Chocolate Whiskey
Chocolate flavoured whiskey? How does that sound for a Valentine's day toast? It is basically whiskey flavoured with cocoa essence.

Cachaca
This is Brazil's national drink. Cachaca is close to white rum in constitution but it is distilled from molasses and sugarcane juice.

Akvavit
This drink is taken as a shot in the Scandinavian countries. The liqueur is flavoured with caraway seeds that give it a spicy zing.

Tej
This drink is very close to homemade mead sold in old inns on the countryside roads. The honey flavoured mead is an Ethiopian staple. Every café or restaurant brews its own Tej and thus the taste varies greatly.

Bacon Vodka
The component of this vodka is potatoes but it is infused with a bacon flavour to please meat lovers. It can be used to make very interesting Bloody Mary cocktails.

Pulque
This spirit is sold in beer-like cans. It is milky in colour and quite popular in Mexico. It is made by fermenting agave nectar with yeast.

Baijiu
This Chinese drink is notorious for its ‘kick'. Baijiu is brewed from sorghum and is referred to as the ‘white devil' colloquially.

Bubblegum Vodka
It may sound childish but this liqueur is simple made by soaking pieces of bubblegum in vodka. And it has many takers!

Eiswein
The name ‘Eiswein' has been derived from ‘ice wine'. This is a way to describe a special type of wine, which uses grapes that are frozen on the vines. You will find Eiswein in Canada and also some parts of Germany.

Fernet Branca
This is an Italian aperitif known for its bitterness. The liqueur is black in colour and drunk in small portions after meals.

Malort
Malort is another bitter spirit to soothe your taste buds. Malort is prepared for wormwood and is originally from Sweden.

White Whiskey
Whiskey is known by its brown colour. But here is a whiskey that is clear and transparent. This spirit is brewed with rye, corn and barley.

Fruit Loops Vodka
This spirit is another juvenile attempt at discovering new flavours. The vodka does in fact taste sweet and smell fruity.

Soju
Soju is the typical Korean liqueur that is brewed from rice. The starch is the main component to the taste of this spirit. You will like it if you like vodka in general.
