Lakme Fashion Week 2014: Nikhil Thampi
Untamed is the new Spring/Summer 2014 collection of the celebrity fashion designer, Nikhil Thampi which has been showcased at 22nd season of Lakmé Fashion Week (LFW), 2014. The Untamed SS 2014 collection of the designer depicts the power of the sexes, and their freedom for uninhibited expression. It is an amalgamation of new age, urbane sophistication with rebellion against social conformism.
Nikhil Thampi's Untamed collection at Lakme Fashion Week SS 2014 ramp featured tailored trousers, pencil skirts, thigh high slit gowns and silhouettes to name a few. The Untamed collection of Nikhil Thampi at LFW Summer/Resort 2014 had a nice blend of LBD, sheer and golden zipper thigh high slit gowns. White and brown colours were extensively used in his summer collection. Golden floral embellishments and latex fabric looked nice on the ramp.

White
We some some elegant white coloured creations from the designer's new collection. This white strapless thigh high slit gown has sequinned floral details on the neckline.
Cut Out Jacket
We also saw some white trousers which were worn with sexy cut out detailed jackets. Loved the dried brown rose print on the jacket.
Codra
Colourful hot pants in codra like designs are just perfect for the summer wear. Smart accessories like the floral bejeweled box bag looked chic.
Floral Print
Plain white outfits consisted of floral print and golden floral embellishments which looked classy.
Thigh High Slit
Most of the outfits in his Untamed collection were thigh high slit. The slits consisted of golden zipper which looked stylish.
Latex
Latex has been in fashion and Nikhil used the rising trend in his summer collection. It has been beautifully blended with the elegant summer colour, white. Nikhil used his trademark, metal obi belt as well.
Sheer
Summer fashion is all about keeping it light. Nikhil used light fabric and sheer to bring the seasonal trend on the ramp.
Golden Floral Embellishments
Nikhil used golden floral embellishments extensively in his Untamed collection.
Wrap Up
Designer Nikhil Thampi had no celebrity showstopper. He wrapped up his Untamed collection at LFW 2014 ramp.
