Kate Middleton Wears Local Designer On NZ Tour
Kate Middleton's New Zealand tour is like a style fiesta for fashion commentators. So far we have loved whatever Kate Midlleton wore on her New Zealand tour. Be it casual or formal, Kate Middleton rocked every look in her royal tour down under. Latest in the long line of fashion hits was a blue coloured dress Kate Middleton wore yesterday on her visit to Dunedin.
Kate Middleton decided to patronize a native New Zealand designer for her visit to the Southern city of Dunedin. Kate Middleton wore an Emilia Wiskstead creation for the official reception at the Dunedin airport where the royal party was welcomed by local Powhiri tribes. Kate Middleton's Emila Wickstead dress was full sleeved knee length. The dress was round necked and had a pleated skirt from the waist. The aquamarine coloured dress worn by Kate Middleton added a blob of colour to an otherwise dull day with grey skies in Southern New Zealand.

Kate Middleton completed her look by wearing a matching aquamarine hat from her favourite hat maker Jane Taylor. The colour of the hat matched Kate Middleton's Emila Wickstead dress so perfectly that no one would imagine that the hat was mixed and matched. The hat had a upturned flax leaf pattern that is the national emblem of New Zealand. Kate Middleton also carried a black coloured pocket book clutch with her blue outfit. The royal couple looked perfect in their countenance as the descended from the aircraft at Dunedin. Kate Middleton also remarked that the city reminded her of Edinburgh back home.
We have earlier seen Kate Middleton in a powder blue dress before while she was pregnant with Prince George Alexander. We have also seen her in a pale pink number from this popular designer on the royal Colour Day in Britain. Kate Middleton's style statement has included a lot blue lately. Earlier in the New Zealand tour, we saw Kate Middleton wear a powder blue Alexander Mcqueen coat dress. We also saw her wearing a navy blue skinny jeans and 10-button blazer for meeting the New Zealand air force. We have also seen the Duchess of Cambridge wear a red dress as she disembarked in New Zealand for the first time and a lovely black Jenny Peckham dress at the royal reception.
